New Recycling Center Hours

Oxford Recycling Center will be open as follows:

Saturdays: 7:15 AM to 2:45 PM Year Round
Daylight Savings Time (Spring/Summer): Wednesdays 10:00 AM to 5:45 PM
End of Daylight Savings Time (Fall/Winter): Wednesdays 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM

Spring/Summer schedule is effective March 9, 2008 through November 2, 2008

Open to Oxford residents only - proof of residency is required and enforced.

Change to Policy on Waste Oil Collection

Effective November 4, 2005, waste oil will only be collected by the Recycling Center during Wednesday hours.  Waste oil will NOT be accepted on Saturdays.

• Car Batteries
• Newspapers 
• Waste Motor Oil (Wednesday only)
• Brown Corrugated Cardboard
• Glass: (washed, please!)
• Brown
• Clear
• Green
• Blue
• Aluminum Cans (please wash and remove labels!)
• Scrap Metal
• Car Tires (no truck tires or tires over fifteen inches!)
• Bulky Waste (no garbage!)

Items Which Are NOT Acceptable

• Chemicals
• Leaves or Brush
• Household Garbage
• Truck Tires or Tires Over Fifteen Inches
